OLED and LCD display principle and pixel arrangement is different

The advantages and disadvantages of LCD and OLED

LCD's advantages are very obvious, first of all, it will not appear like OLED as the color cast, followed by LCD will generally be the whole DC dimming or high-frequency PWM dimming, so another recognized advantage of LCD is very eye protection. In addition, LCD screen life is longer, even with four or five years, even if the screen yellowing is difficult to burn the screen, LCD is more durable.

But OLED has a fatal problem, is the low frequency PWM dimming brought about by the strobe, which is considered insoluble.

Choose LCD or OLED?

In general, OLED has become the mainstream trend, especially Samsung's AMOLED screen, in peak brightness, contrast and color richness has surpassed the LCD. if you are not particularly sensitive to OLED screen strobe, then do not choose the LCD phone. After all, the OLED advantage is too obvious, and many Android flagships are on the top 2K + 120Hz OLED, the fineness is not a problem.
